What SLAC Provides

Included Basics
Sparks Lake Activity Center provides the core essentials to make your event possible.
  • Indoor event space with flexible open floor layout
  • Basic tables and chairs (as available)
  • Indoor and outdoor lighting
  • Security fencing around the facility
  • Exterior security cameras covering the building and parking lot
  • Standard power access and basic utilities
  • Scheduled access time for setup and cleanup
Simple Policy: We supply the building and the basics – everything beyond that is provided by the event renter.

What Renters Provide

Renter Responsibility
All event-specific needs must be supplied by the renter.
  • Decorations, linens, specialty tables and chairs
  • Audio/visual equipment and sound systems
  • Food service items, catering supplies, and serving equipment
  • Special lighting, stages, dance floors, or tents
  • Inflatables, bounce houses, games, and entertainment
  • Additional power equipment or generators
  • Event staffing and event coordination
These items may be provided in one of two ways:

Option 1: Added through SLAC at a small add-on cost when available.
Option 2: Rented directly from an offsite party supply or event rental company.

Security & Parking

Event Dependent
For certain events, additional staffing may be required.
  • Extra security guards when needed or deemed necessary by owners
  • Parking lot attendants for large attendance events
  • Traffic flow management for high-capacity gatherings
  • Crowd control staff if event size requires it
Important: Any additional security, parking attendants, or event staffing requirements must be supplied and paid for by the event renter, not by SLAC.

How Rentals Work

Simple Steps
  1. Submit an event request with date and details
  2. SLAC reviews availability
  3. Discuss setup needs and add-ons
  4. Receive quote and agreement
  5. Confirm booking and deposit
Submitting a request does not guarantee reservation until confirmed in writing.

Cleanup & Responsibility

Required
Event renters are fully responsible for:
  • Removing all decorations and personal items
  • Bagging and removing trash
  • Returning the space to original condition
  • Any damages caused by guests or vendors
Additional cleaning fees may apply if space is not returned as agreed.
