The Sparks Lake Activity Center is privately developed and community-focused. The public is invited to participate, gather, and show support through events, programs, Images on this website may include conceptual renderings and planned future improvements. The only facility currently open for scheduled use is the Sparks Lake Activity Center building, which hosts basketball activities and approved events by reservation. Outdoor amenities, expanded event areas, and additional programming are not yet open to the public and will be announced as they become available. scheduled use of the event center and grounds.

Just across the lake from Sparks Lake Resort, the Sparks Lake Activity Center offers an indoor basketball court and community gathering space that’s open and welcoming to visitors. Whether you’re staying at the resort for a weekend getaway or attending an event nearby, the Activity Center is a natural place to stop in—shoot some hoops, catch a game, or connect with the local community. It’s a short trip across the lake and a great way for resort guests to experience more of what the area has to offer.

Is the Sparks Lake Activity Center a city-owned facility?
No. The Sparks Lake Activity Center is a privately led venture created as part of a community restoration effort. While it is not owned or operated by the City, it is being developed with a public purpose.
The event center, gymnasium, and surrounding grounds are intended for public use through scheduled events, programs, and reservations, inviting families, students, organizations, and neighbors to gather and support the community we all live in.
